“Xiaomi 14 Civi – The Best All-Rounder with Long Battery Life & Leica Cameras at ₹25,999”
I rarely write reviews, I must say the Xiaomi 14 Civi has exceeded expectations in every way. For the ₹25,999 price point, this phone is nothing less than a flagship-class allrounder.🔋 Battery Life That Lasts All DayWith a 4700mAh Li-Po battery paired with 67W Turbo Charging, this device easily powers through a full day of heavy use. Streaming, social media, photography, gaming – it handles everything without breaking a sweat. The fast charging tops it up in under 40 minutes, making it perfect for power users.📸 Leica Co-Engineered Cameras – Photography RedefinedThe 50MP OIS main camera, 50MP portrait telephoto, and 12MP ultra-wide, tuned by Leica, produce stunning shots. Colors are natural, portraits look cinematic, and night photography feels effortless. Dual front cameras also make selfies and vlogging next-level. This is a camera powerhouse at mid-range pricing.🌈 Flagship Display & Premium DesignThe 6.55-inch 1.5K AMOLED curved display with 120Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits peak brightness delivers vibrant visuals indoors and outdoors. At just 177g with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, it feels premium, slim, and durable in hand.⚡ Performance & StoragePowered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, with 8GB RAM + 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, the phone handles multitasking, gaming, and daily tasks like a true flagship. You will not regret
It becomes real monster after update to Android 15 & HyperOs 2.0, lots of AI feature added like circle to search, erase object, teleprompter & lot more which even not mentioned in the product description. Satisfied with camera performance specially in low light. Battery is enough for day to day use. No idea about gaming performance, overall Value for money Go for it,Giving 4 star, deducted 1 star for missing it’s premium look.

Worth buying for the price with great features
Worth buying for the price. People doesn’t know the value of the features given by Xiaomi. The camera quality is better than iphone.Small display and light weight easy to use mobile.Only drawback is battery is less for heavy users. That you can manage with a small power bank.

Well balanced xiamoi phone
Amazing genuine phone. Thank for Amazon and the seller, I was worried about the genuinety of the product. I purchase the same xiaomi 14 from flipkart and turn to be a Chinese certified xiamoi phone which don’t have a warranty in India and with ear speaker not working issue. I put up a hell of battle to make them, return the product. And then I brought it from Amazon. It’s a amazing xiamoi phone. Nice battery backup, amazing camera. 6.55 is not a small display, it’s nice and handy. Get a little bit warm while play heavy games like BGMI, CALL OF DUTY. I play Bgmi for 1 hour or more and still give a 1 day battery easily. It’s a balanced phone.

Good Cameras, Heating Issue, Poor Multitasking Experience
Bought this in 24,000 INR in the GIF 2025 sale. Charged it fully, tested all functionality and sensors, updated the software twice (first to the final HyperOS 1 version, then to version 2.0.205.0). I waited for 1-3 days as Xiaomi suggests, for the device to settle. Added a TPU case and tempered glass. All review content is based on usage after 3 days of update. The phone heats up very quickly, (becoming physically noticeable through a TPU case) and battery temps reach 39°C when doing low-level tasks on 5G (WhatsApp, Amazon, Brave Browser open at the same time). This is in winter, the ambient temps in the area are 22°C-25°C. Ceiling fan was off.I got rid of Xiaomi’s bloatware using UAD-ng. It didn’t help. Using Thermal Monitor reveals that battery temperatures sit at around 35-36°C when the phone is barely being used (ceiling fan was off). AIDA64 showed average CPU temps being 45°C-47°C. This doesn’t seem normal.1.36M score in Antutu 10.5.2 when testing from idle (ceiling fan off). This is okay, considering the form factor. When using the UI, there was significant jitter or lag. HyperOS kept trying to drop me down to 60Hz at the slightest hint of moderate use. I fixed this by setting the display to always use 120Hz and disabling app exceptions. There’s still the occasional lag.RAM management is also super aggressive. HyperOS kills apps which haven’t been used for 5-ish minutes. I fixed this by locking apps I typically use into memory.Battery is its weak link. The 4700mAh battery can last 4 hours for a CODM session (max settings, 120fps). A media consumption session (YouTube, OTT) can give ~6.5 hours of SOT. Phone can last a day for a light user only.Speakers are okay, they sound tinny and lack base but get plenty loud. Dolby Atmos helps. This phone has 8 5G bands. I switched from Poco F5, which has 12 5G bands, and was surprised to see that the network signals are worse on this phone. This doesn’t have the crucial n77 band. The front 32MP 1x camera is great when beautify is turned off. It captures neutral colours and a lot of facial details. HDR selfies and HDR selfies against artificial light/sun) are generally poor. Lots of halo effect around the face if the light source is close behind. The front 32MP 0.6x ultrawide has a similar colour science, but the photos are a bit softer. Groupfies are great in proper lighting. The rear cameras are okay, but do NOT buy this phone if you’re looking for natural colours in your photos, especially human subjects. Skin tones are warm by default. This may look good if the subject has bright skin. Greens in trees and foliage took deep and moody, the sky has a subtle magenta tone. Shadows are typically dark, and detail is intentionally missing from them, even in HDR.This can NOT be turned off. This is the Leica colour science. It’s much more subtle in phones like the Xiaomi 15 Ultra because of better sensors. Here, it is way more pronounced. Also, Xiaomi 14 Civi doesn’t have a decent GCam for it either, 14 months after release. There are 2 modes for photography: Leica Vibrant and Leica Authentic. Leica Vibrant is what most people would use: punchy colours. Leica Authentic adds vignetting and a flatter tone to its pictures. Both modes have the Leica colour science, Leica Authentic leans a bit more into it.The 50MP main sensor captures really good details for human subjects. It’s pretty good at night if there’s enough artificial light. The 50MP 2x telephoto sensor is average, it falls behind in detail; no OIS means you need steady hands for a decent shot. Human portraits using this lens are good. The 12MP 0.6x works well in daylight.Videos are decent, the colours are better in video. Shadows are still dark and moody here. I suggest learning and using Blackmagic Camera for better colours.Verdict: For 24,000 INR the lack of a good multitasking experience and heating issue still stings. I hope this improves in HyperOS 3. Everything else is okay.
